INTRODUCCION

This section sketches the switching mode power supplies designed and manufactured by AcBel. The rectifiers are always the key component, the fundamental of an AC to DC energy system. Therefore AcBel consecrates much of its outstanding R&D efforts to develop series product of rectifiers, which have the reliability and functionality expected in all telecommunication applications.
Our switching mode rectifiers are specially designed for the -48V and +24V telecommunication power applications. By incorporating advanced PWM and zero current switching technology, the rectifiers perform AC to DC power conversion at high input power factor and efficiency. The -48V models are capable of delivering an output current of up to 10A, 12.5A, 50A, and 100A under a wide range of AC input. The +24V models are capable of up to 20A and 70A.
The rectifiers are modular and hot swappable in design. All power and signal connections are located on a single connector at the rear of the rectifiers. Wiring on the energy system is hence straightforward. Rectifier installation and maintenance can also be carried out swiftly and conveniently. The rectifiers exhibit excellent current share performance when they are operated in parallel configuration. All these features contribute to an energy system which is a flexible configuration to meet different power consumption requirements and to achieve N+1 redundancy.
The rectifiers are functioned by multilevel of protection circuitry (OVP, OTP, OCL, and low voltage alarm) preventing abnormal operations. The range of output current limit and output voltage of our rectifiers is widely adjustable and suitable for any telecommunication equipment. The regulated fan speed prevents rectifier components being overheated. Also, the detachable fan filter secures less dust pollution and easy cleaning/replacing.
